Communication in Agile
Soft skills are more general skills that cut across most environments as opposed to hard skills. In other words, hard skills are described as specific work duties and responsibilities. Put another way, hard skills are considered occupational skills. At Anderson Agility we believe that it is essential for individuals, project teams, and organizations to take the necessary time to develop or improve soft skills. In doing so, internal and external stakeholders will be prepared to display a professional attitude that is up to standard when performing their job duties and responsibilities.
In our coaching workshops, for example, attendees can enhance their listening and supportive skills via exercises and feedback. Our workshops will prepare stakeholders to develop healthy relationships. This is regardless of applying one’s soft skills within or outside of one’s work environment. We believe that developing one’s soft skills is a good thing for everyone as well as having a long-term impact on one’s personal growth especially since soft skills are connected to one’s emotions, self-motivation, and attitude. Anderson Agility believes in the concept of “Each one teaches one” because we have done our research; our valued stakeholders will be coached on leadership skills, which are different than management skills.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS - DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
The Importance of Giving Back
Anderson Agility is involved in community outreach projects and programs. We are always looking for assistance from our community to uplift Domestic violence victims because, for example, we believe in the African proverb that states, “It takes a whole village to raise a child“. Put simply, we believe that when people serve in their community, in solidarity, value is added and community growth is promoted.
Through streamlined projects, we aim to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in crisis. According to the website titled Law Insider, “To actualize one’s desire is to work together with other people and build communities of solidarity through actual community work and concrete development projects.” Also, community work involves a level of commitment, charity, being social, helping, supporting, being involved in community, unity and togetherness.
Thus, built into the heart of Anderson Agility is our interest in supporting our community concerning Domestic violence and all other support programs possible. We work with local law enforcement, social services, and voluntary agencies to help restore one’s faith in God and humanity. We are hopeful to one day obtain real estate property to temporarily house survivors of Domestic Violence.

Habitat for Humanity with Anderson Agility
Anderson Agility is a female-owned organization. Therefore, we make it a point to understand the many struggles that women tend to face within their environment. We also understand how these challenges and opportunities impact the mindset of women. Therefore, to provide support to women, we support project-based initiatives such as the Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware County, Pennsylvania. We do so by way of empowering, educating, and participating in community engagement activities for women. Put another way, we are very much concerned about the fact that approximately fifty percent of households are headed by females without the husband or significant other being present. This can be a challenge within itself. Nonetheless, Anderson Agility plans to get involved with Habitat for Humanity’s ‘Women Build” project. According to the company’s website, the Women’s Build project “brings women together to address our community’s affordable housing crisis by providing the tools, skills, and opportunity to make an impact.”

After School Program with Anderson Agility
Anderson Agility believes that education is the key to one’s success. We are always on the lookout for motivated future-thinking individuals who are interested in learning more about the benefits in working in the high-demanding field of project management. We provide a project management program for teenagers who attend an after-school program, and or teenagers and adults who attend a technical school.
With the support of the Department of Education, the PMI Institute, and the Montgomery County PA One-Stop program, our project management program was developed to help address the significant shortage in the field of project management. Our PMO Outreach team aims to bring awareness training to our communities about the benefits of pursuing a project management career in the face of these unprecedented times in our history. Therefore, our PMO Outreach team also assists our valued students with pursuing other related project management career paths to reduce or eliminate the labor shortage gap in these occupations. This is one of our creative strategic approaches to keep our pulse on current trends and opportunities. If nothing else, kids are people too so their growth and development matter to us.
Because Anderson Agility believes in maintaining long-lasting relationships with our employees, we support the potential hiring of family members who completed an approved project management program and/or are Certified Associate Project Managers (CAPM), or Certified Project Management Professionals (PMP). Anderson Agility is affiliated with the Project Management Institute (PMI), which is a world leader in the advancement of the project management profession because we are a family that means business!
